St Mary’s Cathedral Officially Re-Opened

It was a magnificent ceremony witnessed by over 1,000 invited guests, when Archbishop Barry Hickey officially Reopened and Rededicated St Mary's Cathedral on the 8th of December, 2009.

There is no question that the Opening and Rededication Celebrations in December 2009 were historically important events in the life of the Archdiocese and St Mary's Cathedral.

More than that, for those fortunate to be present, they were beautiful and emotionally moving events that will long be remembered.

Aquinas College Representatives Welcomed to St Mary's Cathedral

On Tuesday 23 March 2010, Archbishop Barry Hickey and Monsignor Michael Keating welcomed representatives from Aquinas College and Aquinas Old Boys to St Mary's Cathedral.
